Stress UK was started in 1992 by Chartered Civil Engineer David Kitching. With experience in both consulting and specialist contracting, David recognised the benefits of combining both disciplines of construction. Stress UK was launched to provide a one-stop-shop offering solutions to sometimes difficult problems.
As structural engineering professionals, Stress are able to seek out, invent and patent, a range of innovative techniques. The team have developed products and strategies which have found success in the structural repair market.

30+ years on and the Stress Group has developed into a multi-disciplinary collective of specialists. The Group are dedicated to providing our wide base of regular and new clients with a high level of professional assistance – from problem solving to the completion of large projects.

Dean left on Saturday and we are delighted with what he has done. We spent the last week experimenting with colours and painting techniques and in the end I think came as near as anyone could have done to the original effects. It really was quite an achievement and Dean was really fantastic, keen to try out different ideas and endlessly patient with our umming and earrings about the colours.
