Goldhawk Bridge Restoration Ltd has been part of the STRESS group of specialist companies for over 12 years, headed up by directors Brian Boughton, Bob Falconer and David Kitching. During that time, the team have successfully and cost effectively strengthened and repaired masonry arch bridges all over the UK for Highways Authorities, Councils, Private Clients, Network Rail and the Canal and River Trust.

Strengthening the bond

To safeguard the legacy of Goldhawk as the current directors reach retirement age, the logical step is to absorb Goldhawk into Structural Repairs & Specialist Services Ltd or Stress UK as we are known, currently Goldhawk’s sister company. This will ensure our clients, technicians and support management maintain full continuity and that there will be no change in services. All necessary insurances and administration are already in place ensuring a smooth transition and over-run.

Experience spanning more than 30 years

STRESS UK has been repairing and strengthening all types of structures for over 30 years and the new Goldhawk Division within the company will continue to carry out all specialist remedial bridge works including the unique MARS strengthening system to the country’s stock of heritage masonry arches.

The current design director Bob and marketing director Brian are resigning but will continue to provide consulting back up for hopefully many years to come. David will remain managing director of Goldhawk, Stress and the Stress Group throughout the transition and for the foreseeable future to ensure a seamless continuity of service to our clients.
